You will also need to download the course material and the National Rules from the Alpine Canada website.
In preparation for the course, you should read through the manual and review the case studies. Pre-course assignments will be sent out to registered attendees. WE are hoping that this will assist in learning the technical aspects of doing a hand time calculation and a penalty calculation. Both of these are required to be done as part of the exam. By providing the assignments, we are hoping to make the participants more successful in writing the final exam. These 2 calculations represent 30% of the marks on the exam.
The course is being delivered by Gregg Ferguson and Don Boyce. Both will be available to assist attendees prior to the course to go over these calculations and provide assistance on how the calculations are completed.
